Description
Filters provide filtration of incoming air through a mechanical or electrostatic membrane.
Specifications
- Provides maximum bacterial and viral filtration (filtration efficiency of at least 99.999%) of the breathing gas mixture combined with low flow resistance.
- Eliminates cross-contamination of the patient's airways through the elements of the breathing circuit.
- Protects the patient from pathogenic microflora in the humidifier
- Reduces the risk of infection by airborne droplets through respiratory therapy equipment for staff and patients.
- It has a heat and moisture exchanger made of hydrophobic or foam material and, together with air filtration, simulates the natural humidification of the upper respiratory tract by collecting heat and moisture from the patient's exhaled air; the heat and moisture accumulated in the heat exchanger warm and humidify the air when inhaled.
- The filter body is made of polymer materials, phthalate-free.
- The filter has uniform connectors to connect to breathing circuits and other medical products for anesthesiology, resuscitation, intensive care, respiratory therapy, lung function testing, providing airway patency.
- Can be equipped with Luer-lock capnography port (C02), protective cap, elastic plug. The filter has marking on the body showing the orientation to the patient ("patient side").
