Description
The tracheostoma heat and moisture exchanger is designed to warm and humidify the breathing mixture, prevents condensation in the breathing tubes, thereby reducing the possible risk of cross contamination.

- Cleans the inhaled air of dust and impurities, humidifies and 'lequalizes" the temperature of the incoming air in the presence of a tracheostoma.
- The use of various anesthetic gases does not affect the performance of the heat and moisture exchanger.
- The humidifying element can be made of hydrophobic paper or foam material, which cleans the air, saturates it with moisture and keeps it warm.
